COVID-19 Information and Resources
As a company who focuses on treatments and diagnostics for infectious diseases, we are dedicated to providing the most up-to-date information and resources for the COVID-19 virus pandemic.
Here is the following information as share by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):
How it Spreads
There is currently no vaccine to prevent nor treatment to cure coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)
The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus.
The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person and is known to be stable for several days on surfaces, hence the multiple recommendations for washing one’s hands and avoiding touching one’s face.
These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.'
People can show no symptoms and yet be infectious. This is why transmission is so elevated.
Due to a backlog of testing in the US and elsewhere, the actual number of cases far exceeds the reported one.
How to Protect Yourself
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick
Put distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community

Symptoms
Reported illnesses have ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness and death for confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases.
The following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure: fever, cough, shortness of breath.
A scientific publication suggests that 50% of the people develop the symptoms 2-5 days after infection, and the other 50% 6-14 days after infection. This supports the recommendation for the 14-day quarantine.
If you develop emergency warning signs for COVID-19 get medical attention immediately: difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, confusion, bluish lips or face.
